Obama’s FBI Saved Hillary From Jail By Removing 2 Key Words From Their Memo

Former FBI director James Comey, who is reviled by Republicans and Democrats alike, ruined his reputation with conservatives when he decided, under great pressure from then-President Barack Obama and then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch, not to deem Hillary Clinton’s actions as Secretary of State as criminal.

According to documents obtained by The Hill, two words were altered in Comey’s memo that changed Clinton’s legal fate. In the original version, Comey had written that the former Secretary of State and those on her team were “grossly negligent” in how they worked with highly sensitive emails.

This designation would have left Clinton and her staff members vulnerable to being charged with committing a felony. Instead, these two words were omitted and replaced with “extremely careless.”

Commented The Hill’s report, this “leaves little doubt that Comey originally wrote on May 2, 2016 that there was evidence that Clinton and top aides may have violated both felony and misdemeanor statutes, though he did not believe he could prove intent before a jury.”

Another disturbing change made by Comey in this memo is the fact that he took out an important reference to other intelligence agencies. Said the original draft, “We have done extensive work with the assistance of our colleagues elsewhere in the Intelligence Community to understand what indications there might be of compromise by hostile actors in connection with the private email operation.” Are you glad Trump fired slippery Obama lackey Comey?
