President Biden has some memory problems. From calling people the wrong name to forgetting what he’s talking about during a speech with a teleprompter, to forgetting what he called President Trump names about doing. Now he’s doing it over the decision by China to allow their residents to resume travel as of January 5th.
As a result, he’s making people coming in from China have a negative COVID test. Those going to China also have to produce the same negative COVID test. This will apply to people flying in from mainland China, Hongkong, or Macau per a report from Politico. It is also the same restrictions President Trump set in place back in January 2020.
In May 2020, President Biden went on a tirade about President Trump while on the campaign trail. He decried the decision as he proclaimed Trump’s decisions were full of “denials, delays, and distractions, many of which were nakedly xenophobic.”
“The pandemic has unleashed familiar forces of hate, fear, and xenophobia that he always flames that have always existed in this society. But this president brought it with him, has brought with it a new rash of racial messages, verbal and physical attacks and other acts of hate, some subtle, some overt, against the Asian American and Pacific Islanders.”
Two months later, he hammered on that message, proclaiming “We’ve had racists, and they’ve existed, they’ve tried to get elected president. He’s the first one that has.”
A message like this making the same decision 2.5 years later is not only shortsighted and shows just how little he thinks of himself, but it also sends a conflicting message to the American people. A message that the mainstream media will refuse to talk about. Biden has just proven one of two theories 100% correct.
Making a decision like this after proclaiming Trump as racist for the same decision could mean Biden himself is racist at the same level he thinks Trump was. Never mind that he made this decision at the start of the pandemic when we knew little to nothing about COVID. Or it could also mean that the theory of “it’s wrong and racist when the right does it, but when I do it it’s with the best interests of the people” has now been fully proven.
Either way, this is something that the American people should not forget in 2024. President Biden has been flip-flopping more than the first candidates for President in Afghanistan. His inability to commit to anything but protecting his precious Hunter from the prosecution and real investigations he is due is sickening.
It’s also time for Biden to walk back his previous comments about Trump. Not in private like a schoolgirl calling to apologize, but in public where it occurred. Biden thought it was such a hotshot decision to call out a sitting President like that, then he can respond as a sitting President to admit he was wrong. While this will never happen, it’s nice to imagine such a thing happening. God knows we could use it…
The other thing that will be interesting to see is just how many of the liberals suddenly proclaim Biden as racist for making this decision, or if they will finally be forced to admit that this is just a smart decision for the best interests of the country. Especially as China’s COVID cases are surging with a fury not seen since the pandemic first began.
