Every now and again, we hear of politicians who simply don’t know when to quit. Chris Christie seems to be one of those individuals.
The GOP politician hasn’t been a fan favorite since, well, ever.

He is a failed former governor of New Jersey. And he failed at running for president. Why is that? Well, people who aren’t successful governors don’t usually make successful presidents – and the people voted accordingly.

Most people would take a hint and disappear into the background. However, Chris Christie still believes he has something to offer the American people.

He’s been discussing the possibility of running in the 2024 presidential race. He told the Washington Examiner that he’d likely make the decision within the next 45 to 60 days.

What kind of platform can we expect from him? Well, that’s where things get really interesting.

As of right now, he’s promising to be the anti-DeSantis.

Let’s remember for a moment that Ron DeSantis hasn’t even officially declared his candidacy. He just won another term to be Florida’s governor, so it’s entirely possible that he won’t even run in 2024.

If DeSantis does run, there’s a good chance he’ll do well. Many political analysts believe he’s the only one who could beat Trump in the GOP primaries, too.

There’s a reason why DeSantis is a frontrunner without even declaring that he’ll run.
– He’s outspoken against Biden’s bad policies
– He’s against illegal immigration
– He wants to protect kids from trans policies
– He wants to ensure we’re free from COVID protocols

So, exactly what does it mean to be anti-DeSantis? Does Chris Christie think that Biden’s policies are good? That illegal immigration should become legal? That kids under 18 should be allowed to undergo gender transition surgeries? That we should all be locked down if another pandemic strikes?
No one wants these things. Even Democrats don’t want these things, though they certainly won’t be caught voting for DeSantis in 2024…

Chris Christie can certainly announce anything he wants. However, if he thinks that he’ll get enough votes to actually get him anywhere, he’s sadly mistaken. Perhaps he needs to spend the next 45 to 60 days reading comments about his policies online. He’ll remember that no one likes him and he’ll finally take the hint and retire from politics.
