MSNBC’s Joy Reid has made a name for herself in her tirades against former President Donald Trump. Well, it seems that someone might be taking Trump’s place inside Reid’s head.

During Tuesday’s episode of MSNBC’s “TheReidOut,” the host went on a tantrum about Florida’s Republican Governor Ron DeSantis. She was trying to make the case that he and his state are racist. While trying to make her case for racism, she offered this, “If it ain’t white, it ain’t right in DeSantistan.”

Reid tried to back up her position with examples like the governor vowing to continue using power for political retribution. She talked about how the Republican-controlled Florida legislature is “set to pass a full slate of repressive laws on the governor’s wishlist.”

Here are Reid’s own words: “Florida Governor Ron DeSantis opened a new session of the Florida legislature today, vowing to continue to use his power for political retribution. Republicans have a supermajority in the state legislature and are set to pass a full slate of repressive laws on the Governor’s wishlist. If you’re a teacher, you can’t talk about gender identity with students from the third grade to the eighth grade. You are not allowed to use any pronoun except the one you were assigned at birth.”

That’s right, she’s smearing DeSantis because teachers in Florida can’t talk to 5-year-olds about gender fluidity.

Reid went off on a supposed bill that would force anyone who writes about public figures for pay to register with the government. But DeSantis on Tuesday said he’s never supported a bill that would require people blogging about him to register with the state.

She didn’t end her show before getting to the issue of Florida’s gun laws saying there was “great news for school shooters.”

It’s hard to believe that a “racist” governor like DeSantis could have been reelected by the largest margin in history in Florida.
