The American people are standing with President Trump.
A new Insider Advantage poll reveals that 59% of likely voters approve of Trump’s decision to deploy the National Guard to restore order in Los Angeles as anti-ICE riots spiraled out of control. Only 39% opposed the move, despite relentless criticism from the media and Democrat leaders.
Trump ordered 4,000 National Guard troops into the area last week after violent mobs—driven by pro-illegal immigration groups—erupted across Los Angeles. The riots came in response to ICE raids that targeted criminal illegal aliens, including child molesters, gang members, and drug traffickers.
Video footage from KTLA showed just how bad it got. Protesters hurled eggs and objects at police, blocked intersections, set cars on fire, and taunted law enforcement officers as they tried to restore peace. Over 40 arrests were made, and ICE agents were forced to carry out operations under siege.
President Trump didn’t hesitate. In addition to the National Guard deployment, he sent hundreds of U.S. Marines to support federal operations and protect American citizens from violent agitators.
Democrats, unsurprisingly, lashed out. California Governor Gavin Newsom called the move a “spectacle” and accused the administration of staging a takeover of the state’s National Guard.
But Americans aren’t buying it.
The polling data tells the real story: voters across the country are sick of lawlessness, sick of sanctuary cities, and sick of politicians who side with criminals over citizens. Trump’s response is seen not as an “escalation”—but as long-overdue leadership.
Even CNN’s latest immigration poll showed a 40-point swing among immigrants toward Republicans on the issue—proving that the left’s open-border policies are collapsing under the weight of their own failures.
And now, Americans of all backgrounds are rallying around the man who’s doing something about it.
President Trump’s strategy is simple: enforce the law, secure the border, and stop the chaos. While Newsom, Harris, and Bass wring their hands and blame Trump for everything, the president is sending in the forces necessary to end the violence and restore control.
This isn’t 2020. Trump isn’t going to let Democrat-run cities burn while leaders look the other way. The message is clear: if local officials won’t protect their citizens, the federal government will.
And the majority of Americans agree.
