Nikki Haley Wants Disney to “Groom” Her State for Money

If you didn’t already know, former South Carolina governor and UN ambassador Nikki Haley is running for president. She was among the first, in fact, to announce her campaign. But she may have just shot herself in the foot during a recent interview.

It came on Wednesday, just as woke entertainment giant Disney filed a rather hard-hitting federal lawsuit against Republican Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Disney and DeSantis have been in an ongoing battle for some time now, beginning last year when the Florida leader and his GOP-led legislature proposed a bill that would ban the education of those under age ten by politically motivated movements such as transgender and LBGT talking points.

Disney took a hard stance against the bill, calling on its woke friends for support. However, DeSantis prevailed anyway, signing it into law just a few months later.

Since then, Disney has been trying to get the law repealed, promising to use its great financial accounts to bring DeSantis and his bill to the ground. So far, all have failed. And in the process, the entertainment company has lost its special tax breaks and self-governing status in Florida.

Naturally, none of this has pleased Disney, so on Wednesday, they decided to take the case to the federal level.

And it seems Nikki Haley supports them and their move against DeSantis.

During her interview with Fox News on Wednesday, she literally invited Disney to leave their home of over 50 years in Florida and “move their hundreds of thousands of jobs to South Carolina.” Of course, Haley wants them to “bring the billions of dollars with them.”

If Disney were willing to do so, she says she would “be happy to meet them… and introduce them to the governor and the legislature” of her state.

Of course, there’s a major problem with Haley’s invitation. First of all, Disney is rather unlikely to go for it. And secondly, she does realize that she just knowingly sided with the political left and one of her own, right?

I mean, she is supposed to be a Republican. And while that doesn’t mean she has to be against the trans movement or anything similar, it is rather astounding that a woman with her supposed ideals would move to support 1) either corporate America or a company as woke as Disney or 2) the “grooming” of America’s youth.

It also means that she clearly hasn’t seen recent pollings, which put DeSantis pretty far above her, despite the fact that he hasn’t even announced a run yet.

Let’s just say none of this is a good look for her.
