Oppose Newsom and See What Happens

Every now and again, we see an instance where a Democratic politician can be vindictive. While many love to say that they are happy to have diversity in their office and enjoy the comments made from both sides of the fence, the reality is very different.

Often, it’s all about what a politician wants – and doing everything they can to make sure that happens.

Gavin Newsom of California has been laser-focused on certain liberal agendas. And considering that he’s likely to make a play for the White House, it’s important to pay attention to everything that he’s doing lately.

This past week, Newsom launched a national “Campaign for Democracy.” This is his way of countering too many of the supposedly “authoritarian” leaders in red states…such as Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.

While this campaign is happening, Newsom is also blaming the high gas and energy prices of his state on the energy corporations. Unfortunately, he needs to look within his own Party to see where the mistakes have been made.

In case you didn’t know, the gas regulations and taxes instituted in California come from the Democrats in charge, not from the oil companies.
However, Newsom isn’t one to pay attention to the truth.

When it comes to getting things done, Newsom demands everyone follow in step without asking questions. So, naturally, it was expected that the Democratic supermajority legislature would approve the new gas tax.

And it was approved in a 52-19 vote.

No problem, right? Wrong. One of the 19 who voted against the measure was a Democrat by the name of Jasmeet Bains.

It’s no surprise that she voted the way she did considering Kern County, home of Kern Energy, is within her district.

The CA assemblywoman was instantly placed on Newsom’s naughty list, but it didn’t stop there.

Suddenly, Bains was stripped of her key committee duties.

It’s not only petty but it shows that Newsom is running California like an authoritarian state – so he really doesn’t have that much ground to stand on to point in the direction of DeSantis or anyone else.

It’s standard hypocrisy from Newsom. We just thought it was worth mentioning considering that he could end up giving Biden a run for his money on the 2024 Democratic primary ballot.
