Can we get proof of life that Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) is still on this earth? It’s been six weeks now since he vanished into a mental hospital. Many people think he might be dead, and can you blame them? What’s going on? You don’t get to be a US Senator and then vanish for six weeks and counting in a mental institution during the session. We hope he’s okay, but don’t the voters of Pennsylvania deserve better than this? CNN went to Philadelphia to see what voters think about all this, and it wasn’t good news for Fetterman.
It was six weeks ago when Fetterman’s Chief of Staff announced, “Senator John Fetterman checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to receive treatment for clinical depression. While John has experienced depression off and on throughout his life, it only became severe in recent weeks.”
The guy was sworn into Congress in January and he only lasted until February before having to be committed to a mental hospital! Democrats have been pretending that Fetterman is “co-sponsoring legislation” and “working” from the hospital, but no one really believes that. This is way out of the ordinary.
As Dr. Marc Siegel noted on Fox News on Monday night, people are normally hospitalized for less than one week for clinical depression. If Fetterman has vanished for six weeks now, what’s really going on?
Democrats lied about John Fetterman’s mental condition for all of 2022. The guy had a stroke in May of last year and was left unable to speak or follow conversations. Democrat voters in Pennsylvania thought, “Great! Let’s put that guy in charge!” And they elected him.
One reporter who interviewed Fetterman, Dasha Burns, concluded that he’s “not all there.” The Democrat Party tried to have her fired for pointing out the perfectly obvious fact that John Fetterman is only slightly more intelligent than a cucumber. It’s sad. That’s what strokes do to people. But that doesn’t mean the rest of us have to pretend that that person is fit to be a US Senator.
Pennsylvania Republicans announced, “We call upon Senator Fetterman to appear on camera to show us he is alive and well.”
They further noted, “Ultimately, if Fetterman is unable or unwilling to carry out his duties as a United States Senator, then we ask for his resignation and call for a special election to be held this year; no more lies or games.”
The only thing we’ve seen from Fetterman in the past six weeks is a couple of photos where he’s sitting up in a chair and holding a folder as he pretends to work. We haven’t seen him on video, and we haven’t heard him attempt to speak.
If Fetterman does resign, it would mean that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro (D) would appoint a replacement to fill in until the next general election in 2024. Republicans would be able to take another crack at that Senate seat with a better candidate than Dr. Oz, instead of waiting the full six years.
The voters in Pennsylvania appear to have had it with this Fetterman nonsense. Here’s what happened when CNN decided ask voters what they think about the Fetterman situation:
