DeSantis Wants Ilhan Omar Gone NOW

While many wondered what Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) would do after pulling out from the 2024 GOP Presidential race, the answer is abundantly clear; advocate for a better America.

When Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) appeared before a group of Somali leaders on January 27th, she gave a speech in their native tongue. She expressed that she is “Somalian first, Muslim second,” and is “here to protect the interests of Somalia from inside the U.S. system.” Filmed and widely shared on social media, the video came with a translation from Ambassador Rhoda J. Elmi, the deputy minister of Foreign Affairs of Somaliland.

Omar also told attendees, “While I am in Congress, no one will take Somalia’s sea. The United States will not back others to rob us. So, do not lose sleep over that.”

Now, Gov. DeSantis is calling for her to get out ASAP. “Expel from Congress, denaturalize and deport!”

This simple statement is exactly how the American government should respond to such a speech. Omar has illustrated time and time again that she doesn’t have the best interests of the American people at heart. Instead, she is in Congress to represent the interests of the Muslims. When called out about her remarks, she did not deny the translations or the message she delivered.

Instead, she doubled down by claiming that it is natural that she represents Somalian interests in Congress and started going away from the point by claiming that the interpretations were slanted and that people didn’t understand. Well, if representatives from Somalia aren’t following either, it might be time to find a new way to put it, Omar.

DeSantis has it right, it’s high time she left office and went back home. After all, her ethnic cleansing-focused speeches are sounding too Hitler-like to be a part of America.
