With 2024 and what seems to be a likelihood that Donald Trump will once again win the GOP nomination, everyone is talking about VP choices. Let’s just say there is one name that Donald Trump Jr will not support no matter what.

As we talk about possible vice president choices, many have suggested or expected Trump to choose a woman, albeit not exactly for the same reasons Biden chose one in 2020. Naturally, the only woman in the running against Trump at present, former governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley, has come up.

But while some say she would be a good fit, or at least might be able to bring in a few more votes for a Trump ticket, Donald Trump Jr. has made his opinion quite clear. He doesn’t support such a choice and admits he will “go to great lengths” to ensure she doesn’t end up being his father’s veep.

In a recent interview with Newsmax, Trump Jr. explained that to him and a great many of the Republican base, Haley represents the establishment, which is precisely what Trump Sr. has been working so hard to oust in recent years. Therefore, putting someone like Haley in a seat of power alongside Trump would essentially undo all that he’s done on that front so far.

Of course, Trump Jr. also doesn’t like the fact that she has tendencies toward globalism and constantly seems to want to get the US involved in international conflicts.

As he told Newsmax, “Nikki Haley wants never-ending wars. She’s a puppet of the establishment in Washington D.C. She’s the new favorite candidate of the billionaire class because they want control – no different than academia and Harvard and using their billions to exercise influence.”

Other conservative personalities such as Tucker Carlson, Steven Banner, and longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone also aren’t big fans of Haley.

So I think it’s probably safe to say she won’t be on the shortlist for long if she ever really was.
