One of the best Donald Trump impersonators on the internet left an epic voicemail for Pencil-Neck himself, Rep. Adam “Shifty” Schiff (D-CA), a few weeks ago. “Captain Deplorable” is known for his viral videos doing spot-on, hilarious impersonations of 45. The voicemail that he left with Schiff’s office the other day probably had his congressional staffers running for their fainting couches.
Schiff, the chief Russia hoaxer, already has a reputation for falling for the pranks of people who call him up. A few years ago, a pair of Ukrainian “shock jock” radio hosts prank-called him and convinced Schiff that they had nude pictures of President Trump cavorting with prostitutes in Russia. Schiff can’t tell a Russian accent from a Ukrainian one, so he fell for it hook, line, and sinker.
By the end of the call, Schiff was trying to set up a meeting between the pranksters and his staff so he could take possession of the non-existent nudes of President Trump. Shifty Schiff is not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.
Schiff also led the House’s first impeachment hoax by holding secret, behind-closed-doors meetings with witnesses about the Ukraine phone call. This was a violation of the impeachment process itself, as Schiff tried to keep everything “classified” to keep people in the dark.
Schiff, of course, was censured by the House of Representatives last month for his repeated lies about the Russia hoax and for conduct unbecoming a Member of Congress. That is the subject of Captain Deplorable/Trump’s voicemail message to Schiff. He also manages to work in virtually every insult that President Trump has ever hurled at Schiff in real life.
