What Illegals Say When Being Caught Crossing the Border

By now, we all know there’s a serious crisis going on at our nation’s southern border with Mexico, despite what Democratic President Joe Biden and his cronies claim. But don’t take it from me. Instead, let’s consider the words of a man who deals with the crisis firsthand and on a daily basis.

Introducing Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb of Arizona…

Lamb appeared before the House Committee on Homeland Security during a recent hearing titled “Every State is a Border State: Examining Secretary Mayorkas’ Border Crisis.” During this Tuesday hearing, he explained just how bad things in his county have become and what immigrants themselves say of the situation.

For starters, let’s begin with what Lamb and his deputies hear from illegals on a near-daily occurrence as the reason why they are traveling to the US, to start with.

As he told the House Committee, “When we ask people why they came here, they said, ‘Because Joe Biden said we could.’ And this is the reality of what we deal with every day.”

Now, naturally, the influx of people crossing the border illegally has led to a vast array of community problems. Rampant littering, property destruction, theft, etc., have also increased in border towns throughout the Southwest.

But what is even worse is that for the thousands of individuals who have apparently accepted Biden’s open invite, the risks are far greater due to that very same invitation.

Lamb explained during the hearing that it’s not just people looking for a better life or asylum taking advantage of Biden’s open borders or lack of policies – whatever you want to call it.

Cartels have also used Biden’s policies, or the lack thereof, to further their own desires. And as a result, even illegal immigrants themselves are being caught up in some of the most terrifying situations.

Lamb recounted a story from a woman he and his department caught crossing the border. On her person was a small baggie of pills. When asked about the bag, she told Lamb’s officers, “When I came across the border, I knew I’d be raped multiped times. These are morning-after pills.”

And as Lamb tells it, it’s not just women being raped. Children have also experienced this horror.

Furthermore, some of these unknowing individuals are conned into coming north to the border, but once they agree, they are snatched up by cartels, used as drug mules, or even sold into the ever-increasing sex trade.

Lamb asked House Committee members, “Have we lost our moral compass so bad that we put politics in front of people?”

That’s certainly what seems to have happened.

But as you might have guessed, with the growing number of those crossing the border and making their way into the United States, these problems are not just bound to southern border-lining counties. Instead, as Lamb reminded the House, most of these people only stay in counties like his for a short time. Then, they are off to just about anywhere else, perhaps communities near you.

“What is in my backyard today will be in all of your front yards tomorrow,” Lamb said.

And if you don’t think that’s true, just ask the mayors of so-called sanctuary cities like New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and even Minneapolis. In these places, once so caught up in the plight of the migrant seeking out greener pastures, they are beginning to realize just what kinds of things come along with mass crowds of illegals.

You know, things like a growing fentanyl problem, massive prostitution rings, and violent crime rates that are only rising. Then, of course, there are the ever-widening homelessness camps and city resources that are being eaten up as a result. Hospitals are filled with illegals who can’t pay their bill but desperately need medical attention, and baby after baby is born with serious issues due to drug use or the lack of prenatal care.

The problems go on and on.

But Biden’s open invitation stands…
